Olivier Carret
Olivier Carret has spent more than 37 years in the energy industry, with experience in project development and project management in nuclear in the UK, business development and lobbying experience in the US, executive responsibilities as well as operational management responsibilities in the power and gas industry in France.

He has held many managerial and executive positions at EDF, Gaz de France, GDF Suez and ENGIE; and his international career included 8 years in London (United Kingdom), 6 years in Washington D.C. (USA) and 23 years in France (Beaune, Dijon, Mauriac, Clermont-Ferrand, St-Brieuc, Cherbourg, Toulouse).

His experience as Moorside project Chief Operating Officer and Director between 2010 and 2013, as well as his involvement in NuGen’s Investment committee until the first quarter of 2017, gave him a particular grip on power investment projects and international partnerships.
​
Olivier holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers in Paris, a Scientific Award from the National institute of Standards and Technology in Washington D.C. and a Finance Degree from HEC Business School in Paris. He was part of the World Bank Executive Development Program at Harvard Busines School and part of the Top Executive Development Program of ENGIE in New-York City.
